iPod Touch 2.0 Firmware

by Tim Faircloth on Jul 16, 2008, 9:11 am

So, last night I downloaded the 2.0 firmware for my iPod Touch. I haven’t had much time to play with it, but I have to say…

Where the FUCK is my compilation support? Seriously! I paid ten bucks for this upgrade and it doesn’t include the one feature I use that’s standard on any other iPod? Oh sure, you’ve got the App Store and people that pay you $100 a year for this MobileMe stuff (which may be worth it — but not to me yet), but I’m stuck here with an artist list that’s ten miles long because my iPod has no support for what once was a standard feature.

Why am I the only one bitching about it? C’mon, people, I can’t be the only one with this problem.

Does anyone know how to report this kind of thing to Apple? Do they have a suggestion box or something? I’ll friggin’ drive to Cupertino if I have to.

I just downloaded The Complete Led Zeppelin from The Rhapsody mp3 Store for $9.99.

Just thought you guys would like to know.

Also, in order to add a little extra spice to this post, I give you this web comic to celebrate the latest soon-to-be-released apple fanboy craze.
